Quest Overview

Help Rhik Ibn Raya track down his missing apprentice.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Prior to beginning the quest, at least one person will need to hunt down a Magma Golem Exarch and loot the Stuck Superb Infused Pyreal Ingot. Note that the burden of this item is 10,000.
2. Give the Stuck Superb Infused Pyreal Ingot to Silencia's Magma Golem to receive the Perfect Pyreal Key. Note that the burden of this item is 5,000.
3. Go to 27.4S, 12.8E, north of Al-Arqas, and speak to Rhik Ibn Raya.
4. Go to the Tomb of Meqot at 30.9S 24.9E.
   • Shortcut: Uziz to Thasali Cottages portal at 25.0S, 29.8E. Run Southeast to the Tomb of Meqot, located at the Skeleton Cave.
5. Optional: Kill the lower level creatures inside for some lore notes and the Broken Pyreal Key.
6. Once you've gone down one level, pull the levers in either side room to open the door on the other side.
7. Use the Perfect Pyreal Key to open the Pulsing Door.
8. Kill High Priest Meqot.
   • Note: While Meqot is only a level 80 creature, he has 4800 hit points, casts high level debuffs, hits hard, and has high defenses.
   • Spells include: Char Flesh, Batter Flesh, Flayed Flesh, Concussive Belch
9. Loot the Undead Flesh Covered Bracelet from Meqot's corpse. He drops ten in total.
10. Return the Undead Flesh Covered Bracelet to Rhik Ibn Raya for your reward: a bracelet with Ravenous Armor, Augmented Damage II, a random epic attribute buff, and a random epic ward.

Rhik Ibn Raya tells you, "I'm worried about my young apprentice I sent him to Uziz to pick up some supplies. It normally takes him almost a full day, he has been gone for almost two full days. I wonder if he has stopped off at the Tombs again. He once showed me a piece of pyreal he had gotten from there. If you have the time and could check for him between here and Uziz, I bet he is in the tomb again. I've told him to stay away from their, but I fear he does not listen to reason. I'm not sure exactly where the Tomb is, but i think its about 10 clicks east and maybe a few clicks south. I hope he is well."

Rhik Ibn Raya tells you, "This is sad news, I had hoped for him to one day take my place as master."

Rhik Ibn Raya tells you, "Oh this is disgusting but very unique, as I tear the flesh off it regenerates. I think I have and Idea for this."

You Watch as he draws symbols in the sand and then suddenly the flesh shrivels away into nothingness.

Rhik Ibn Raya tells you, "I've added a magical potion to the bracelet, it should keep the regeneration to a minimum. You may want to be careful with that, undead regeneration can be painful to the living. I've also figured out how to amplify the magic, not sure for what purpose yet. If you have an old bracelet I cannot amplify it, I need to do it while crafting it. I'm still testing things out lots still to learn."

Rhik Ibn Raya gives you Olthoi's Biting Bracelet of Coordination.
