Town Crier tells you, "An Adventurer recently returned from an expedition to the snow covered fields of Northern Osteth. He claimed to have found an ancient trigonal structure of unknown origin. He left in a rather excited state clutching onto his journal and a number of leather bound tomes. That lad always did have his head buried in some sort of book."

Town Crier tells you, "Could it possibly be true? Crafting your own 'rares'?...I use the word 'rare' very loosley because it's not really a rare is it? It's called a rare for a reason, and to be honest I'm perplexed why you would meddle with such things. It doesn't sound natural is all."

I would not be surprised if they were intended for a certain crafting skill or even if they had a level requirement...or both. I fear there are some twisted minds at work here."
