You’re not alone in Asheron’s Call. When you’re in Dereth, you’ll frequently find yourself in contact with characters controlled by other players. To make it easier for you to interact with them, we’ve included a set of chat emotes you can use, to make your character wave, bow, laugh, cry and more.

In addition, the Allegiance system gives you the chance to acquire followers and rise through the aristocracy. Different allegiance titles give each Heritage Group’s nobility its own distinctive feel.

Communication with Emotes

Communication in Asheron's Call isn't all just text; it's also body language. You can type a variety of "emotes" while you chat, and your character will act them out on screen. For example, typing *laugh* will cause your character to pantomime laughter. Be sure to try these out!
