Why do MOBs render at different ranges on screen?

Question Title: Why do MOBs render at different ranges on screen?
Category: Graphics
Question: Example, banderlings for some reason appear on my screen at 70 yards or more. Usually off radar so I know that's over 55 yards. However, Tuskers and gromies don't appear on my screen until 30-40 yards. Why? Do they need better degrade art? I'm running a GeForece 32meg on a pen3 450 at max detail settings. Is there a chat line command to allow me to load these guys on my screen sooner then after they have seen me? Thanks.

Answer: This has been reported, there are a few reasons a Tusker may not view as far out as a Banderling.

The range things draw out is supposedly consistent from creature to creature. There may be an exception or two that has gone without my attention. I'll check specifically on Tuskers and Gromnies.

The other complication is that as creatures scale, the distance changes. Scale a creature down and he disappears closer. Scale one up and he draws further out.

It is POSSIBLE the tusker and banderling in question are scaled. The tusker down, and the banderling up. This would make a tusker disappear before a banderling.

But I'm looking into the distance thing to make sure the base values are consistent.

Sean.
