| Question: | Merchants as we see them are stationary and just so plain ...would like to see pop up merchants that come and go...I think this will bring in more excitement to adventuring the lands and spend that hard earnd Pyreal on... |

| Answer: | It would be relatively easy to add generic (or specific) vendors to random landscape spawns. I wanted to try this back in beta. Since random landscape portals have been successful, I wouldn't mind giving it a throw. Their behavior would be simple, though. Don't expect to see Uther the Wandering Merchant literally walking across the landscape, or sitting in a fully-decorated tent. Most likely, you run up and find a vendor standing and staring vacantly at the horizon... possibly surrounded by monsters. |
