| Question: | Or is it like Aerfalle, who apparently is pretty generous to spawn so many times to give out her staff an robe? Will Anadil remain accessbile, or will his staff go the way of Joffrey Tremblant's Ivory Staff? By the way, Anadil was my favorite character in the backstory... I'd be depressed if he was gone for good. |

| Answer: | Yes, he really is dead and gone. When this storyline began, I badly wanted to kill Bael'Zharon and replace him with Isin Dule. That idea was nerfed by other designers, who insisted that BZ was part of the "core mythology," and by MS, who saw BZ as a marketable figurehead that should be retained for future use. My arguement that "bael'zharon," Yalaini for "slayer of hope," was a position rather than a name was unfortunately ignored. So I created a character more compelling than Bael'Zharon and killed him. |
