At the beginning of the Viamont occupation of Aluvia, Thrushhaven, the traditional highland fortress of the Aluvian Kings, was deemed too old and remote for Viamont Royal Governor Alfric, and thus he began the construction of the Tower of Alfric on an island in the middle of the Canfeld and Celdon itself.[1]
