Overview
Walkthrough & Notes
- Kill the Hastar the Misbegotten at 93.2S, 94.6W on Singularity Caul.
- Loot a Hastar's Essence.
- Give the Essence to Soju Bo-Ki to get a Black Gateway Token.
- Hand the token to the Black Totem Gateway (93.2S, 94.6W) to summon a portal into the Black Totem Temple.
- You can easily run to the end of the dungeon, to a safe spot near the exit portal.
- Tip: If you die, you can use the Black Totem Gateway to get back inside.
- The final room has about 6 Wretcheds in it. If you can't kill them fast enough, you can ignore them and just attack the totem.
- Attack and destroy the Black Totem at the end of the dungeon.
- Loot a Shard of the Black Totem.
- Give the shard to Soju to receive your rewards.

If you are If you are strong enough to fight mighty Shadows, venture to 92.9 S, 94.7 W in the Singularity Caul, and bring me the essence of Hastar."

- You give Soju Bo-Ki Hastar's Essence.
- Soju Bo-Ki tells you, "Well done. The essence of Hastar the Misbegotten is indeed helpful. It allows me to make this token, which will gain you entrance to the chambers of Grael's Black Totem. Simply give this Gateway Token to the Black Totem Gateway on the Singularity Caul, and a portal should open up for you. Once you have gained access to the Black Totem Temple, destroy the Black Totem, and that will help split Grael's power..."

- Handing in Shard of the Black Totem
- You give Soju Bo-Ki Shard of the Black Totem.
- Soju Bo-Ki tells you, "Excellent! This means that Grael's power has been dealt a serious blow! The shattering of the Black Totem temporarily split his avatar. I will get this to our mages, who might be able to work the proper rituals of sympathetic magic to keep Grael's spirit sundered. You have done the realm of Dereth a great service, friend."
