Notes
- Route:
- The first time doing The Jester quest, the Jester appears as an NPC. When repeating the quest he appears as a creature.
- Found at the end of Jester's Prison. Also can be summoned using a Summoning Stone in Graveyard.
- Previously the Jester spawned randomly in the Graveyard. During the Dispatch event, two Summoning Stones were added to GY, using the stone causes the Jester to appear for a moment. The north stone is used for the Jester Focuses quest, and the south stone is used for the Jester's Lost Marbles quest.
Dialog
When using a summoning stone to summon Jester
- As you touch the stone's surface your fingers leave glowing trails that slowly seep into the stone. You hear distant laughter and then...
- Jester tells you, "Hey there little person. Have you seen my cards around? I had two decks, but I can't seem to find them. I probably put them down somewhere when I was talking to the lalas."
- Jester tells you, "It's too bad, I think much more clearly when I can focus on something like my cards or puzzles and games and..."
- Jester tells you, "Hey there little person! Gosh you people are everywhere. I was just talking to one of you."
- Jester tells you, "If you find a whole deck of cards can you bring it back for me? I promise I won't turn you into a frathock if you do. I might turn you into something else funny though. I can't swear I won't, but definitely not a frathock, which is a big deal since they are my favorite."
- Jester tells you, "Okay bye now."
- Jester tells you, "I lost my marbles yesterday... I'm always losing them."
- Jester tells you, "If you happen upon my marbles could you please return them to me?"
- Jester tells you, "I don't think I was very far from here."
- Jester tells you, "The lalalas are back. They're playing games behind my eyes. Go away! I don't want to do that! I just want to be alone for awhile."
- Jester tells you, "Why won't you leave me alone? Let me die. Please! Please stop talking! Lalalalalalalalalalala! I can't hear you! LALALA!"
- Jester tells you, "Listen up! You will all die when I sing the final song. I have to practice because they make me and I'm going to give a concert while it eats. It likes dinner music apparently."
- Jester tells you, "It's a very special time. It's not often the puppet gets to meet the puppeteer."
- Jester tells you, "H is for the way It hates all that's bright and warm."
- Jester tells you, "O is for the sound you make when first you see Its form."
- Jester tells you, "R is for the lesser man who dies upon first sight."
- Jester tells you, "R again for greater men who fight its evil blight."
- Jester tells you, "O is for the order foul who follow It for power."
- Jester tells you, "R we see is lastly me who tolls the final hour."
- Jester tells you, "I'm just a fool after all. I'm here to dance, joke and sing. I'm here to distract you from what's re*grk*"
- The Jester clutches his mouth and begins to laugh uncontrollably.
vJester tells you, "It doesn't really sleep. That's just how we think of it's long silences."
- Jester tells you, "They all plan down there in the dark you know. He plans to extend his reach to the surface, to corrupt everything within his reach, lalala."
- Jester tells you, "The floating tower was where Rytheran cursed me so long ago. He must have moved it here after my imprisonment to perform his experiments on my people."
- Jester tells you, "He will pay for what he has done."
- Jester tells you, "It's coming. He opened the way and it can see us. Hide! Hide!"
- Jester tells you, "Old Rythy's a slave to his curiosity. The book has corrupted him and he doesn't even realize it. It wants him to read the spells. If he does, all is lost and I will sing to what remains as it eats its fill."
- Jester tells you, "Oho! Rythy doesn't know what he's playing with. But I know. I KNOW! AHahahahahaha!"
- Jester tells you, ""The Blighted Dreamer" they call Him... It. If It dreams its dreams forge our nightmares."
- Jester tells you, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! If I had known. But I can't close my eyes anymore unless I see it and I can't sleep lest it take me over. I'm sorry..."
- Jester tells you, "Laylana! Where did you go? I think this is where I'm supposed to meet you. Shut up all you lalas! I need to warn her. So close! Just beneath us."
- Jester tells you, "I've decided to follow the spirits of my people. Some day I will figure a way to break this cursed life in which I am imprisoned. Then I will join my love Laylana in the next world."
- Jester tells you, "That which rips and tears and eats is coming for the tasty meats. They run and scream and squish and crunch. Good times! The thing can't wait for lunch."
- Jester tells you, "Have you ever been in a crowded room with so many people talking loudly that you feel the sound close in on your thoughts like a heavy uncomfortable blanket?"
- Jester tells you, "That's what its like for me all the time."
- Jester says, "Ooo, what's over there?"
- Jester says, "Haha!"
