Overview

Based on all the of the occurrences of this event, it appears to be admin triggered. The event seems to start with a global broadcast giving a clue to the location.

  • 1st event: Drudge Angler was located at 31.7S, 88.1W, at a lake near Mt. Lethe.
  • 2nd event: Drudge Angler was located on the beach near Danby's Outpost.
  • 3rd event: Drudge Angler was located at 48.7N, 76.6W near the East Fork Dam Hive.

These Tumeroks are great fishers, care to see if you can get some too?
  • 4th event: Drudge Angler was located at 86.9S 0.5E, at the lifestone near the Land Bridge Villas.

A bridge from east to west, a nice view of the southern ocean from the top, but the water is at the bottom.

One slug, two in shells, sea fish do tell, and there is coral and anemone as well.

Walkthrough & Notes

  1. Speak with the Drudge Angler (or Banderling Angler).
  2. Use the Fishing Barrel to obtain a Tournament Fishing Pole. Equip the pole.
  3. When the tournanment begins, use the Tournament Fishing Holes while wielding the tournament fishing pole.
  4. Catch Tourney Minnows (1 pt), Tourney Guppies (2 pts), Tourney Mollies (3 pts), Tourney Fish (4 pts), and Large Tourney Fish (5 pts).
  5. Turn in enough fish to reach 50 points and receive your reward.

Drudge Angler tells you, "Once you have your fishing pole head over to the fishing hole and start fishing!"

Drudge Angler tells you, "Minnows are worth 1, Guppies 2, Mollies 3, and so on!"

Drudge Angler tells you, "As you catch fishes bring them back to me friend. I'll keep track of your score and reward the first adventurer to 50 points! Meow! I will have additional rewards for other anglers too so don't give up!"

You allow Drudge Angler to examine your Tourney Guppy.

You hand over 1 of your Tourney Guppies.

Drudge Angler tells you, "Meow! thanks I will add fish to your total score!"

Drudge Angler tells you, "You currently are up to 49 points, and need 50 points to win!"
Handing in final Tourney Fish

You allow Drudge Angler to examine your Tourney Minnow.

You hand over 1 of your Tourney Minnows.

Drudge Angler tells you, "Meow! Thanks fellow angler, I will add this to your score!"

Drudge Angler tells you, "Great job friend, everyone is a winner when they catch the fishes!!"

Drudge Angler tells you, "Thanks for hanging out with me today!"

You hand over all of your Tournament Fishing Poles.

Drudge Angler says, "I'm going to hang around for a few more minutes for anyone else to finish up and then I'm going to take off! Meow!"
