- You could hand the pack Grael back to the emissary for a free level of advancement.
- The NPCs were left in game for an additional month:
- "In order to make sure that all those affected by the authentication issues last month have a chance to get the Pack Grael, Ulgrim's Emissaries have been left in the game for another month."

Speaking to Emissary of Ulgrim
- Emissary of Ulgrim tells you, "Yes, you are entitled to a wonderful, yet strangely menacing, Pack Grael! Enjoy it! If you don't like it, you can trade it back to me for one free level of advancement. Consider it carefully, though! You'll only ever get one!"
- Emissary of Ulgrim gives you Pack Grael.
Handing the Pack Grael back for a free level (example at level 275)
- You give Emissary of Ulgrim Pack Grael.
- Emissary of Ulgrim tells you, "Well, if you're sure you don't want it... This will really hurt old Ulgrim's feelings, though. You might well drive him to drink!"
- You've earned 3,390,451,400 experience.
Trying to receive a Pack Grael after the time is up
- Emissary of Ulgrim tells you, "Sorry, I don't think you're entitled to a Pack Grael. Too late to the party, as it were."
