• Aytalya, Bard of Darktide had her story, Shadows of My Doubts, made available in game after it was chosen as one of the best three Aluvian entries in the AC Writing Contest.
• Because of the Player Versus Player nature of the Darktide server, players got to choose sides during the Bael'Zharon's Rampage live events in December 2000:
  • The Player Killer monarch, Blood, swore allegiance to Bael'Zharon during one of his visits to Kara (screenshot below).
  • The Anti-PKs or Anti's swore allegiance to Asheron.
