Walkthrough & Notes

Level 70+ Section

After speaking with Jyotsana, go to the beginning of the floating platforms that extend from the side of the Plateau at 15.8S, 61.9W.
Jump from platform to platform until you reach the hilltop where the 1st Crystal (Marker) resides. Double click the crystal to record it.
- Warning: Only the parts of platforms that fade in and out are solid. The parts that never fade are ethereal and you will fall through them.
- See the Crystalline Bound Wisp for jumping tips.
Keep going across the platforms and use the Bound Wisp for a free ride back to the Plateau, or jump down and use the Resonant Portal to get back to the Plateau.
From the drop run to the Crystalline Portal dungeon - it is at the opposite end of the Plateau at 17.0S, 61.2W.
The last 4 Crystal (Marker)s are in this dungeon. There are a ton of Wisps that will block your progress. High Magic Defense will help, as well as a Magic Absorbing item.
Run through the dungeon and keep going down. There are some pits you have to jump down on the way. You will find the Crystal markers throughout the dungeon.
- 2: Center of top level
- 3: Center of middle level
- 4: Center of bottom level
- 5: South side of 2nd level
Once you have used all 5 Crystal (Marker)s, you can return to Jyotsana for a reward.

Level 90+ Section

At the bottom of the 70+ dungeon is a pit with the 5th Marker Crystal where there's another Crystalline Portal that is restricted to levels 90+. There are five more Marker Crystals in this dungeon (6th to 10th).
Run through the dungeon and use each of the 5 crystals (see map below for clarification):
- 6: As you start running down the hallways, the first big room on your left has the first Marker on the ledge to your left on the top level.
- 7: Keep heading down until you reach a second, smaller room with 4 exits. Take the south exit and follow the hallway to the east to a large room. At the end of the large 'U' shape is the Marker.
- 8: Head back to the small room with 4 exits. Take the east one and take your first available left turn. In the large room you get to, jump down one level to the west, then one level to the south, then jump to the northwest to reach the platform with the Marker.
- 9: Jump back to the platform to the southeast, then jump down to the east. The Marker is just northwest.
- 10: Continue through the dungeon to the end. Next to the portal to the next dungeon will be the final Marker.
Once you have used all 5 Crystal (Marker)s, you can return to Jyotsana for a reward.

Level 110+ Section

At the bottom of the 90+ dungeon is a pit with the 10th Marker Crystal where there's another Crystalline Portal that is restricted to levels 110+. There are five more Marker Crystals in this dungeon (11th to 15th).
You can find the markers easiest in the order of their numbers. The dungeon can be confusing so use the map to get a better idea of layout but these directions will get you through.
- 11: Exit Northwest from the drop room. Stay right till you go up a ramp. Once at the top of the ramp stay left till you reach the marker.
- 12:From 11 jump back into the drop room. Exit through the south passage in the Southwest corner of the room. Stick to your left and you will go up a ramp then down back into the lava. Take the first left and then stay to your right until you reach the marker.
- 13: From 12 stick to your right. You will come to a point where you will go down into the lava tubes then very quickly back up. After that happens you will see a loop in the hallway. After you pass the loop you must start going left. Take the second passage you see on your left and follow it to the marker.
- 14: From 13 take the first passage on your right. The keep to your left until you reach a large open area. Once in the open area stick to your right until you come to the marker.
- 15: From 14 stick to your right until you come to a large room that appears to be a dead end. There in a ramp in the middle of the floor concealed by the lava. You have to feel it out. Go down until you find the marker.
Once you have used all 5 Crystal (Marker)s, you can return to Jyotsana for a reward.

Level 130+ Section

From the 110+ Section, there is a portal near the 15th Marker to the Progenitors' Lair
- 16 Can be found in the room with the Shade of Ja'qu
- 17 can be found in the room with the cold wisps (open with the lever in front of the whirling portal-like door)
- 18 is in a room with Ancient Golems in the Frost/Lightning Wisp section (opposite the ramp to the large room)
- 19 is in the large room with the Fire and Acid Wisps
- 20 Is in a small room on your way out to the crater (See Progenitors' Lair on how to access it)
- You can exit to the crater at 15.2S, 65.1W, which is outdoors and can't be accessed any other way.
Once you have used all 5 Crystal (Marker)s return to Jyotsana for a reward.

Facility

From the 130+ section go outside into the Crater
Enter the Facility dungeon at 15.7S, 65.3W (no portal)
- 21 you can find from going down: first intersection left, second intersection left, close to the Eastern Facility Door.
There are four locked doors, with the Northern, the Eastern, the Western and the Southern Facility. The dungeon is 4-way symmetrical, and the route through the Eastern also describes the one through the other parts.
The Eastern Gate Key can be found near a corpse in front of the door to the Eastern Gate Facility.
Enter the Eastern Facility, use a lever to get into a room with Ancient Golems and a ramp in the floor heading down.
Jump into the pit at the bottom of the ramp, and through the hallway to a door to a room with Ancient Golems
Use the Essence Lock in the room with the Ancient Golems to obtain the Southern Gate Key.
Use the lever in the room with the Essence Lock to get to a jump down of several levels.
At the bottom, there is a portal back to the entrance of the Facility (50+, can be recalled but not summoned)
Open the door to the Southern Facility
- 22 is at the bottom of the first pit in the Southern Facility
Use the Essence Lock in the room with Ancient Golems to obtain the Western Gate Key.
- 23 is in the room with the Essence Lock in the Western Facility
Use the Essence Lock in the room with Ancient Golems to obtain the Northern Gate Key.
- 24 is in the first big room in the Northern Facility, near where the Ancient Golems spawn
Use the Essence Lock in the room with Ancient Golems to unlock the last Essence
- 25 is at the bottom of the dungeon, near the portal back to the Facility Entrance
Optional: Kill the Crystalline Essence Array and loot a Crystalline Array Fragment. (See Crystalline Adventurer)
Once you have used all 5 Crystal (Marker)s, return to Jyotsana for a reward.

Notes

The markers have specific numbers assigned to them. So if you happen to enter the dungeon and use the 5th Marker first it will say you've found the 5th marker even if its the first one you found. This makes it hard to remember how many you have left.
