The Tale Thus Far...
Fifteen years ago, some of the Yalaini trapped in portalspace began to be rescued. In the years since, more freed Yalaini have slowly trickled back to Auberean.

Last year six Yalaini, led by Wistan Aletain, appeared. Working with the Exploration Society, they sent brave explorers out to aid them in their research on the many forces that have exerted their power over Auberean while the Yalaini were absent.

Now, Wistan and his band have left, but there is still much to discover, and the Exploration Society has found new factions and leaders to partner with.

Exarch Athane, Yalaini Hieromancer
Athane is another freed Yalaini, and is an Exarch of the Order of Hieromancers. As the Yalaini begin the long process of rebuilding their fallen society, the Order is needed now more than ever. If you want to restore the Glorious Seaborne Empire, help Athane gather magical arms and artifacts.

Thurvald the Valiant, Knight of the Golden Flame
The Knights of the Golden Flame were the knighthood of old Aluvia, and here on Dereth they serve as the official knights of New Aluvia.

Thurvald is one of these knights. Last year, he helped Tasia Amertane of the Order of Perfect Light with her research into the Shadows. Now he has returned, and is looking for new adventurers that can prove their worth to the realm.

Aun Awirea, Master Hunter of the Aun
Last year, Awi was merely an ona (scout) assisting Shoraleth Haeuli in his research of the Atua Ngamaru - the Virindi. Now she has returned, and has earned the title of rea (hunter). To help Awi you will need to show your hunting prowess.

Ira Forze, Ruschk Barbarian Acolyte
In the twenty eight years that Viamontians have been living on Dereth, most of them have fallen into two camps: The loyalists of Sanamar, serving under King Varicci II, and the rebels of Silyun, defending the Duke Bellenesse.

Ira Forze rejected these squabbling groups, and has lived in the wilds of the Halaetan Isles. There, he has studied the way of the Ruschk, and he has developed a keen understanding of their culture, their gods, and their brutal and enticing ways of combat.

There is much blood to spill on the Isle of Woe. Will you join Ira?

Mazoku Musume, Master of the Dragon Clan
Musume is the master of the Dragon Clan, an ancient and secretive clan on Nanjou Shou-Jen. The Dragon Clan rejects the “modern” teachings of Jojii, believing him to be a false prophet.

Instead, they believe that the Elder Spirits are not the allies of the Sho people, and, using the power they steal from the Dragon, only they can be the true protectors of the land.

How long this clan has been on Dereth is a mystery. Perhaps they have existed in the shadows, hiding underground, for as long as the Sho have been called to Dereth.
