Disturbance in the Desert

March 27 2013 - Wintersebb - Lord Miretrex appears

A corrupted archmage of House Mhoire has appeared in the heart of the graveyard. (He is worth 80,000 Luminance)

In the middle of the Graveyard, at daytime, a special Undead, Lord Miretrex, level 300 with 200250 health spawned, surrounded by amongst others Wight Captains. He casted rings and other spells, and had the typical "let's jump on the bunkers to have some fun" attitude.
The 80,000 luminance was shared in fellow.

After he died, Legendary Keys spawned on the ground. On his corpse were 2 Mhoire Coins and 9 Rytheran's Jeweled Rings. The rings could only be picked up by those who had completed the Castle of Lord Mhoire Quest.

07/19/13 - Frostfell

• The Dark Imagining appeared in Candeth Keep which was turned blue, The Dark Imagining a Developer controlled Virindi summoned a portal to the Twisted Dwelling dungeon. Work your way through the Dungeon until you encounter the final boss the Lord of Grinning Anger, Kill the Lord of Grinning Anger and a Gateway appears and the destination is (62.9S, 50.0W) near Wai Jhou.

2013/07 - The Torment of Joy

07/31/13 - Thistledown

• A developer controlled creature, The Raging Calm, appeared in Yaraq amongst a blue fog.
• Another Virindi The Torment of Joy appeared in Zaikhal again with a blue fog. When killed, it handed out 5 Aged Legendary Keys for use on a Legendary Chest, Hero Tokens, and a Luminance Wisp that awards 40,000 Luminance.
• Once The Torment of Joy was killed, a grey fog appeared in Sanamar, which was then attacked by a Corrupted Pyre Oak followed by Lady Tairla Mhoire.
• The event ended once The Torment of Joy was killed in Zaikhal. The Sanamar portion was extra carnage unrelated to the lore event [1].

2013/10 - Halloween

The 2013 Halloween Live Events were run on the following Servers at the following times;

Summary

Arwic, then Holtburg, then Eastham, then Glenden Wood. Eastham and Glenden Wood had persistent spawns for probably 30 minutes and were where the reward items dropped.

Halloween creatures, Hoshino mobs, GY skeleton mobs, GY rare spawns. Even Lord Mhoire made an appearance.

New Accursed Scarecrow Masks, and Mukkir Wings cloaks spawned randomly on the ground in Eastham and Glendon Wood. There were not very many but they spawned off and on for 30 minutes or so. Some people got, some didn't. There was a pickup timer on the Mukkir Wings, so only 1 per toon during the event.

Casting Jack o' Lantern orbs dropped on Flaming Pumpkin Lords...apparently. I killed one and it didn't have one. Not very many of these it seems. Tailoring purposes only.

5 different Title Tokens: Haunted, Accursed, Possessed, Doomslayer, and Pumpkin Lord. There was a timer on picking up Title Tokens, so you are stuck with the one you grab first. They didn't all spawn at once, so we had no idea there were different ones until later.

Luminance Wisp (20k) and Legendary Chest (5 MMDs) spawned in Glenden Wood at the end. The Hoshino mobs stayed though.

13/10/18 Wintersebb

The event started in Cragstone, where Old Zombies and other Halloween creatures such as Harvest Reapers spawned. It progressed with GY Skeleton Mobs and Hoshino Mobs towards the appearance of Accursed Scarecrows and Flaming Pumpkin Lords. After the field was cleaned, the sky darkened, and Rithwic was attacked.

In Rithwic, the bridge to the center of town was guarded by Pumpkin Buffers. The center of town was a mass of wave after wave of Halloween creatures such as Harvest Reapers, Hoshino Skeletons, Graveyard skeletons, rare Graveyard spawns such as Lady Tairla Mhoire and the Corrupted Pyre Oak and the new Halloween creatures Accursed Scarecrow and Flaming Pumpkin Lords including their minions, the Possessed Pumpkin Kin. The new cloak could be found on the ground, as well as the Title Tokens. Also Trade Notes and Legendary Keys spawned. The event lasted quite long (30 minutes or so) and towards the end, a chest giving out 5 Trade Notes, 5 Aged Legendary Keys and a Luminance Wisp giving out 20,000 luminance appeared.

At the end of the event, the sky cleared and two waves of Pancake Golems ended the event.
