Walkthrough & Notes

Level minimum is currently unknown; a level 84 can start it.

1. Talk to Xorva to obtain an Unstable Portal Stabilizer.
2. Find a random spawn of Corrupted Empyrean Gear Knights surrounding an Unstable Exit Gate.
3. Kill them until a Corrupted Empyrean Gear Knight Captain appears. Kill the captain and loot the Unstable Portal Fragment from the corpse.
4. Return the Fragment to Xorva for your reward: XP, Luminance, and access to the Warrior's Rest portal (180+) for 10 days, which he will summon for you.

Xorva tells you, "I am sorry young adventurer, return to me when you have more experience under your belt."

Xorva tells you, "Greetings adventurer, I have been intrigued by portal magic for quite sometime and I require your assistance."

Xorva tells you, "With enough power I believe I can summon portals through ancient means."

Xorva tells you, "I have created a device that will detect unstable portals."

Xorva tells you, "I believe corrupted Empyrean Gear Knights are using the same power source I require."

Xorva tells you, "I have manufactured a device to detect such anomalies."

Xorva tells you, "Please take this device, if you come across one of these portals destroy anything that comes out of them. Retrieve the power source and bring it back to me."

Xorva gives you Unstable Portal Stabilizer.

Xorva tells you, "Be careful adventurer, there is no telling how many enemy forces are on the other side of those portals."

Xorva tells you, "Once I have enough power I can create portals without the use of magic, and perhaps make them permanent, time will tell."

Xorva tells you, "Make haste adventurer."

Returning Dialog, quest incomplete

Xorva looks at you with disappointment.

Xorva tells you, "You do not have the power source I require, please make haste."

Reward Dialog

Xorva tells you, "I thank you adventurer job well done. I still require more sources of power, but you now have access to the portal once it is opened for a period of time."

You hand over all of your Unstable Portal Fragments.

You hand over all of your Unstable Portal Stabilizers.

You allow Xorva to examine your Unstable Portal Fragment.

Xorva tells you, "I thank you adventurer job well done. You now have access to the portal."

You've earned 376,436,320 experience. (level 250 +6%)

Returning Dialog (on timer)

Xorva tells you, "It is too dangerous to interact with these portals in such short inervals. The energy is too unstable, and potentially deadly which is why I require your assistance. Please come back after some time has passed."

Xorva tells you, "It is done, although the portal is not permanent, and you now have access to the portal for a period of time."
