As per my previous reports our progress with the creature is slow and tedious, however troop morale is still high.
We have made some significant inroads in the last two hundred years in terms of ingot production. Ingot production is currently high, and rightfully so, considering the precursor materials are plentiful and do not look like slowing any time soon.
We have however identified a significant flaw in the ingot tempering process. The tempering process renders the finished ingot unusable in its final form, due to a a significant build up of latent heat during the final stage of production.
After much deliberation with my peers, we have identified an ancient crystal which has the ability to cool the ingots to managable levels, furthermore we have identified that the means to do so is possibly located in a vault south of our location. I have deployed a team to find said solution.
I will keep you abreast of any further updates as they come to light.
