Clutching handfuls of weightless pyreals purveyors line the fronts of blacksmith shops waiting to be the next to try on the latest piece of armor available. Lighter than the previous metal armors made, these new suits also boast much stronger defenses versus the elemental attacks by creatures of Dereth.

In bowyer shops and at alchemists clientele find that their crafting tools are now shrunken into peas much like those that house the reagents of the magi. This coupled with the ability to stack items in greater numbers are a welcome alteration of the Auberean paradigm.

Adventurers now have the ability to hunt longer with less time to prepare as the length of beneficial spells is extended. Conversely, detrimental spells have been reduced in length, further enhancing the joy of hunting.

An order has risen to prominence on the outskirts of the more removed towns that tests the skills of all Derethian travelers. These guild members will make it known to all that a adventurers are specialists in their crafts should they pass a test and meet the specified price.

Along the northern coast of the inland sea a fort has been constructed, funded by an unknown benefactor. Gunther Danby, the namesake of the fort, seems to be unnerved by the development of his new home, but his wife Greta seems to enjoy their new station in life. Who could their benefactor be?

In the Direlands the Virindi continue their encroachment but their intent remains as much a mystery as their masked faces.

Dereth changes once again, and the children of Ispar adjust by altering their stride.
