Overview

• Quest two in the Shadow Invasion chain.
• After completing this quest, you must wait 20 hours? before you may begin the 3rd quest: Fate of Bael'Zharon.
• The creatures in the dungeon drain and cast nether spells. A Resister's Crystal helps if you want to solo this quest

Walk Through

1. Speak to Isin Dule (in Arwic), and he will give you a Message from Isin Dule to Asheron.
   • Warning: If you do not speak to him you can get stuck in an uncompletable state where you cannot turn in your crystal (he will say he does not know what to do with that).
2. Enter The Shadows at 29.5S, 94.2E in Tou-Tou.

Siding with Isin Dule

1. Make your way to the Strange Crystal. It is located in a small room on the west side of the dungeon. See the map for details. You will need to kill void objects which block the pathways to get there.
2. Use the Crystal to obtain the Strange Purple Crystal from The Shadows.
3. Travel to Asheron's Castle and give the Emissary of Asheron standing next to Asheron the Message from Isin Dule to Asheron. He will take the crystal also and give you experience, luminance, and the title "Illuminating the Shadows".

Siding with Black Ferah/Ler Rhan

1. Make your way through the dungeon and back to Ler Rhan, similar to the first quest in the series, Shadow Communication.
2. Give Ler Rhan the Message from Isin Dule to Asheron. He give you experience, luminance, and the title "Undercover of Darkness".
   • If you happened to also loot a crystal while in the dungeon, Ler Rhan will not take it. You will have to give it to a Town Crier to get rid of it.

Isin Dule gives you Message from Isin Dule to Asheron.

Giving message and crystals to Asheron

You allow Asheron to examine your Message from Isin Dule to Asheron.

You hand over all of your Message from Isin Dule to Asherons.

You hand over all of your Strange Purple Crystals from The Shadows.

Asheron reads the note and then examines the crystal briefly.

Asheron tells you, "This is troubling news indeed."

Asheron tells you, "I will get to work on studying this crystal right away. Thank you for bringing me this."

You've earned 350,000,000 experience.

You've earned 30,000 Luminance.

You have been awarded the title of Illuminating the Shadows.

Asheron gives you Fortified Mana Forge Key.
