Quest Overview

• Custom:: This quest now has an ice weapon for each of the four melee weapon skills. Mosswart Muckers drop 2 random weapons out of the 4 possible.
• Differs from Retail: Ivory Crafter reward is 10,000 xp, rather than the updated 15,000 xp.

Retrieve a fabled ice weapon from one of several locations around Dereth.

Walk Through

There are three different locations where one may find the ice weapons:

Mosswart Camp

1. From the Facility Hub, take the Mosswart Camp portal found in the 10+ section of the west hall.
   • Traditional method (optional): Purchase the rumor Green Mire Camp Directions from Jaikite Sanzen the Barkeeper in Shoushi and then run "north (and a tiny bit west)" as the rumor says to the camp at 27.5S, 71.0E.
2. At the camp you will find a group of different Mosswarts. Among them you will find two Mosswart Muckers. Kill them to obtain the ice weapons.

Mosswart Shrine

1. From Yanshi run to the Mosswart Shrine at 14.7S, 48.0E. The Ice Tachi is dropped on the Mosswart Mucker

Mosswart Holding

1. Several Mosswart Muckers may be found in a room in the Mosswart Holding. This is a higher level dungeon and it is not recommended for new players.

Attempting to Hand in Prior to Timer Expiring

You give Ivory Crafter Ice Tachi.

Ivory Crafter tells you, "Thank you, but I have plenty to study for at least a month. Perhaps if you return later I will have time to examine this."

Ivory Crafter gives you Ice Tachi.

Update History

Release Quest introduced. The Mosswart Mucker that dropped the Ice Tachi was originally located in two locations: The Mosswart Camp near Shoushi, and inside the Underground City. That Which is Ours Crafter XP reward of 10,000 added for the tachi. Mosswart Shrine Mosswart Mucker now drops an Ice Tachi instead of an Acid Axe. Underground City Mosswart Mucker and Ice Tachi removed. Reforging the Past Now one of the Facility Hub Quests (bonus xp). The timer was standardized to 27 days. Filling in the Blanks Respawn timer of the Mosswart Camp Mosswart Mucker reduced to roughly 1 minute. Learning From Experience Crafter XP reward increased from 10,000 to 15,000. The Quest for Freedom Crafter reward timer changed from 27 Days to 20 hours. Custom: Auroch and a Hard Place Ice Naginata, Ice Nodachi, and Ice Yari introduced. Ice Tachi updated with new icon, model, and description.
