Uncover buried treasure from ages past!
Walkthrough & Notes
- Roam the countryside and search for Tricks and Treats Bags.
- Note: the bags are selectable with the item selection key bindings.
- Use the bag to obtain a reward. This will destroy the bag and place an item in your inventory.
- If you are lucky, you will receive an Old Sealed Parchment. Use the parchment to obtain an Unsealed Diary Entry, Unsealed Letter, Unsealed Memoir Page, or Unsealed Plea. The description of this note will contain your clue to the location of the buried treasure.
- Note: These unsealed items have a 20 hour lifespan.
- Follow the clue to the location of the buried treasure. You will receive a message when you are nearby.
- Once you are close enough, the Disturbed Earth will appear. This object has about a 7 minute lifespan. Use the disturbed earth to uncover the Chest. The chest has a 5 minute lifespan.
- Use the Unsealed Letter on the Chest to unlock it. The chest will contain tier 8 loot, gems of lesser luminance, and occasionally bonus item.
Clues / Solutions
I headed south out of Arwic along the road hoping to avoid any suspicion. Most folks don't travel it this time of year. I later came across a house where I could head a woman crying. I had no time for her problems as I had plenty of my own. I headed westward and found a fountain and a corpse in a tree nearby. This would have to do for now, and so I buried it there. It should be safe there a while, it's not like anyone else knows this entry is the key!

| Fountain and hanging corpse, south of Arwic, at 28.8N, 56.8E |
Westward out of Holtburg past the old outpost I traveled. Past the spinning obelisks and burnt ground was old settlement abandoned except for some local wild life, what luck! I'm pretty sure those stinkin' bandits were too far away to catch my scent. I've always tried to be careful so it was probably a good thing I buried it on the south side near barn with the two hay bales. Even if they found it, they would still need this parchment.

The Lugians and Isparians refused to let me in! I wasn't sure where to go with all these Tumeroks about! I set out Northwest. Not far from town I saw a destroyed Lifestone at the base of a hill. I buried it near a gigantic evergreen close to the base of the hill. I hope the courier finds you, remember that to bring this to the cache, it also functions as the key.
