Cool Dagger Mystery

Bregrie's opening dialog includes the following:

I specialize in creating things from some pretty weird items. Right now I'm looking for a fabled item from Etsalot. Supposedly this creature has a jaw that never stops moving. I think I can create a backpack from it, or maybe a cool dagger.

Players have been trying to find this cool dagger for many years. This talk page will be used to catalogue the clues we have and what players have tried.

General Quest Info

NPCs

This quest has two NPCs:

• Bregrie - Level 195 Male Aluvian Trophy Collector, located in the Southern End Tavern in Nanto.
• Venito - Level 195 Male Aluvian Trophy Collector, located in The Shining Shield Tavern in Hebian-To.

Bregrie is the NPC that accepts the Etsalot Eater Jaw and the Etsalot Eyelid. Venito accepts the Raw Augmentation Crystal.

Neither NPC knows what to do with the Jaw Flap Pack

Dungeon

The experimentation ward is located at the Viamontian Knight Encampment at 93.5N, 51.4W. This point of interest is used in the retail quest Torgash's Tasks.

The dungeon is a repurposed Virindi Fort. The Virindi Fort dungeon is inaccessible - it has had its level restriction changed from 15+ to 325+.

The dungeon has new creatures, but retains most of the lever/door interactions the original dungeon had. Of the levers in the Virindi Fort, the only change seems to be that lever 7 and 8 have swapped locations.

Etsalot Eater Jaw description:

This eater jaw has rows of long sharp teeth and a large flap of skin. Bile continues to drip from it as if it were still alive.

Etsalot Eye lid description:

This lid is huge and heavy.

Raw Augmented Crystal description:

A raw uncut augmentation crystal. This crystal can be refined into a gem of great power.

Jaw Flap Pack description:

Created with the jaw of a giant eater. Use this item to close it.

The Etsalot Eater Jaw, Etsalot Eye lid, and Raw Augmented Crystal cannot be used.

All the things exist, they were originally found by someone who saw the /say chat from one of the NPCs while they were sitting in town. With that said, the aspects of the game and expectations from 4 years ago have changed drastically with how players interact with their environment.
