Cornering the Market

Town Crier tells you, " The larders in our town and in surrounding townships have seen a shortage of smoked meats, pies and ales of late, being purchased by none other than the adventurers we often see in these parts, seeking lore and riches alike. Let's hope the rumours are not true or this could be the end of my kind."

Town Crier tells you, "Yes, I know who and where he is. I am however not at liberty to discuss such things, partly due to a sense of self preservation on the matter. It is true that I am partial to the occasional coin for comment, but what he does is absurd. Give me a cookie, I'll tell you a riddle....oh please!"

Town Crier tells you, " An intrepid and very wise adventurer, who really needs no Introduction, has recently stumbled across a former resident of bur, who claims to know a whole lot about a whole lot. He also claims to be very hungry all of the time. Coffee and cake sounds really good about now!"

Town Crier tells you, " Look, it's not like I, or should I say, the Town Crier's Guild hate him, or anything. I mean, he is very good at what he does. We, the town criers, do our part, and to be honest he does his part very well. I can only give you so much information before you have to go see him for a bit more."

Town Crier tells you, "He is always hungry...I mean...who eats that much? Regardless, if you give him what he likes, which to my knowledge changes often, he will no doubt give you what you want. His information and sources are sound."

Town Crier tells you, "The new armor that the Hearthseekers are wearing is quite spiffy isn't it? I have been told that it is a perfect go to set to wear between the regular seasoned armor and the epic variety. The way to acquire said armor and weaponry is still filtering into the Town Crier's Guild, but I am sure we will have further updates on items said soon."

Town Crier tells you, "I have now heard on more than a few occasions that one of the Black Spawn Den dungeons in the Direlands has been infiltrated recently by no-so-regular Virindi and their augmented minions. We are not sure what is going on down there, but rumour has it it is not good."

Town Crier tells you, "Have you ever seen a giant Tusker clad in solid steel plate before? Or how about a Hollow Minion as tall as a cottage? oh...and then there are those doors engulfed in flame? I certainly have not. I was talking to a group of our finest and well travelled adventurers yesterday, recently returned from the direlands, some of which were the worse for wear, and they had some interesting stories to tell."

Town Crier tells you, "Apparently the Virindi have set up camp inside a Black Spawn Den and installed a mana syphon deep within its bowels. For what purpose I know not."

Town Crier tells you, "I received a missive the other day from Savvanah of Hebian-To. She will be relocating to the Market Place soon. Something about construction works currently being underway. Sounds very interesting considering the Market Place has been all but abandoned of late and not really being used for the purpose intended for by the Arcanum. I would check back often with me for further information."

Town Crier tells you, "Who is Arbrim? One of, if not the first Hearthseeker. He is also missing apparently. Seek out his companions at The Leaping Stallion in Eastham for more information."

Town Crier tells you, " The other day I received a message from the Hearthseekers. They advised me that construction works are underway in the Market Place, for what purpose to be advised at a later date. They also advised me that visitors are welcome but asked to stay well clear of the wings being renovated, and to stop tampering with the barricades."

Town Crier tells you, "Looks like demand for gold letters is on the rise. I wish somebody told me why though."

Town Crier tells you, "I was speaking to a young lad the other day who was a bit down in the dumps about something. When prompted, he ever so begrudginlgy elluded to the fact that he was bored and needed something to do later. I told him to go check out the Market Place to get his mind of things for a while. There seems to be some activiy in there at the moment."
