Overview

Custom: This is one of the quests for the Marketplace HearthSeeker 80-90 Quests.

Uncover more of the alliance between the Renegade Tumeroks and Lugians and the Burun, and obtain Dereth's one and only quest lockpick.

This quest has very little in the way of starting points. The royal guard Gabrielle will tell you the general area where the dungeon may be found. If you discover the Renegade camp, the map there has a slightly more accurate location shown.

Walkthrough & Notes

Optional: Speak to Royal Guard Gabrielle at 10.5N, 58.2E in Rithwic. She will tell you the general areas where six different renegade/burun locations may be found, including this one.
Optional: Run to Renegade Camp at 10.2S, 59.0E. On the ground you can find and pick up the Maps to Burun Lair and Campfire. These are both housing decorations.
- Route: Lytelthorpe to Jin-Lai Stronghold, run southwest.
Go to the Burun Cavern at 12.0S, 50.0E.
- Route 1: Facility Hub to Folthid Estate, run southwest.
- Route 2: Town Network to Yanshi, run east.
From the drop point head north west down the ramp and then again down a second ramp. Hug the left wall until you go down another two ramps into an open room with trees and plants. Take the Carved Bone Key that is lying in the centre of the room and recall to the start.
This time hug the right wall down the ramp and continue to hug the wall until you pass down another two ramps. You will eventually come to an open room sim Burun Mud-packed Chest, use the Carved Bone Key on the chest for your rewards.

Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "It has come to our attention that the Lord Kresovus has managed to get a warrior into the Renegade army. According to the latest reports from High Queen Elysa this warrior is currently stationed in the Renegade Fortress in the direlands. He has earned much trust and been appointed to a position of some authority."

Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "For the past several days Captain K'rank, the lugian in charge of this operation and several other investigations for High Queen Elysa and our allies, has been waiting for a report. He fears the worst and needs our help in trying to contact the lugian spy, Toberik."

Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "We're also monitoring other situations as well: Fadsahil's old shop in the A'mun desert, the Blackmire Swamp near Yanshi, the southern border of the Blackmire Swamp heading toward Shoushi, the Direlands Swamp in what used to be the Sclavus Cathedral there, near Stonehold and along the Prosper River."

Royal Guard Gabrielle tells you, "If you can make your way to the Renegade fortress in the direlands and find this lugian I am certain that your efforts would be rewarded."

You give Translator Aun Laokhe A Fetid muck-covered Note.

Translator Aun Laokhe tells you, "Foul beasts. They mean to make war on us all and overwelm this world for what appears to be Wharu. They claim they have begun to change the burnt lands, the desert I think? Be wary of this foe. I fear that they will arrive in great waves."
