Quest Overview

• Custom: This quest now has an ice weapon for each of the four melee weapon skills. Mosswart Muckers drop 2 random weapons out of the 4 possible.
• Custom: Unwanted ice weapons can be turned in to Weaponsmith Omaro Nagate for a reward.
• Differs from Retail: Ivory Crafter reward is 10,000 xp, rather than the updated 15,000 xp.

Retrieve a fabled ice weapon from one of several locations around Dereth. There are three different locations where one may find the ice weapons:

• Mosswart Camp at 27.5S, 71.0E, near Shoushi. This is the preferred method, as there is a shortcut portal in the Falicity Hub.
• Mosswart Shrine at 14.7S, 48.0E, near Yanshi.
• Mosswart Holding at 78.2S, 85.3E, near Kryst. This is a higher level dungeon and it is not recommended for new players.

Walk Through

1. Journey to the Mosswart Camp at 27.5S, 71.0E, near Shoushi.
   • Route: From the Facility Hub, take the Mosswart Camp portal in the 10+ section.
   • Alternate Route: Optional: Purchase the rumor Green Mire Camp Directions from Jaikite Sanzen the Barkeeper in Shoushi and then run "north (and a tiny bit west)" as the rumor says to the camp at 27.5S, 71.0E.
2. Kill the Mosswart Muckers at the camp. There are two present. Mosswart Muckers will drop two random ice weapons out of the four possible.
3. Facility Hub Bonus Reward: Return to the Facility Hub and show any ice weapon to the Warden for your reward. She does not take the item.
4. Bring any unwanted weapons to Weaponsmith Omaro Nagate in the Glenden Wood West Outpost for a reward.

Update History

Release Quest introduced. The Mosswart Mucker that dropped the Ice Tachi was originally located in two locations: The Mosswart Camp near Shoushi, and inside the Underground City. That Which is Ours Crafter XP reward of 10,000 added for the tachi. Mosswart Shrine Mosswart Mucker now drops an Ice Tachi instead of an Acid Axe. Underground City Mosswart Mucker and Ice Tachi removed. Reforging the Past Now one of the Facility Hub Quests (bonus xp). The timer was standardized to 27 days. Filling in the Blanks Respawn timer of the Mosswart Camp Mosswart Mucker reduced to roughly 1 minute. Learning From Experience Crafter XP reward increased from 10,000 to 15,000. The Quest for Freedom Crafter reward timer changed from 27 Days to 20 hours. Custom: Auroch and a Hard Place Ice Naginata, Ice Nodachi, and Ice Yari introduced. Ice Tachi updated with new icon, model, and description.
