- You give Bretself the Translator Empyrean Notebook.
- Bretself the Translator tells you, "Hmmm... This seems to be written in some sort of Empyrean Code."
- Bretself the Translator tells you, "I can translate it into recognizable characters, but I can't make heads or tails of it. Seems Atlan didn't want other people reading his notes."
- Bretself the Translator gives you Atlan's Coded Notebook.
- Give to Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist to be flagged to enter Atlan's Laboratory:
- You give Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist Atlan's Coded Notebook.
- Ciandra, Arcanum Alchemist tells you, "Ahh, the translated tome! Wonderful!"
- Ciandra examines the book intently.
