| Question = There is a problem with Asheron Call and nVidia 6.xx drivers (all versions). It occurs at all resolutions and consists of minor transient graphical glitches accompanied with a transient flash in the top half to the screen. Quite annoying but not a show stopper. Over the past weeks with other players I have been able to confirm that it is not hardware related. It affects CL, Hercules and Elsa cards. Not affected by SBA, Fast Writes issues or Overclocking issues . Affects BX and 815e motherboards. Problem with DX7 and DX8. The problem does not occur with the 3.xx drivers, unfortunately these drivers do not take advantage of the GTS2 features and are not really a good choice for the card. What is worrying is the problem has not been fixed by more recent drivers and neither Microsoft (Turbine) or the AC Q&A; page are acknowledging the problem. I believe the problem is widespread as I have asked for responses on the AC newsgroup and received lots or confirmations about the problem. Perhaps if the problem was acknowledged in your Q&A; it might help get things moving. Many thanks....Roger

| Answer = Sure, I'll acknowledge that NVidia has bugs in thier drivers. But I don't get how thats going to help Nvidia fix thier drivers, since we're not Nvidia. Try contacting Nvidia, they're the ones who write the drivers for your cards.
