This quest is for the Vanguard Leader's amulet, insignia and his weapon, which is either a morningstar or crossbow depending on which outpost leader you defeat.

* Both the insignias can be given in for experience.

=== Part 1: North Vanguard Outpost ===
# To reach the [[North Tumerok Vanguard Outpost]], take the [[Aqalah]] settlement portal in [[Yaraq]] at 22.4S, 0.2E.
# The leader is at the end of the dungeon and is guarded by [[Tumerok Gladiator]]s. To make your way to him just simply make your way north through the dungeon. You will fight [[Drudge Ravener]]s, [[Reedshark Stalker]]s and various Tumeroks including [[Tumerok High Priest|High Priests]] and Gladiators along the way.
# Kill the [[Tumerok North Vanguard Leader]] and take his {{Itemlink|Vanguard Leader's Morningstar}}, {{Itemlink|Vanguard Leader's Amulet}} and the {{Itemlink|Northern Tumerok Insignia}}.
# Give insignia to [[Ufet, Prophet of Blades]] in [[Zaikhal]] (13.9N, 0.7E) for 5,000,000 xp.

=== Part 2: South Vanguard Outpost ===
# To reach the [[South Tumerok Vanguard Outpost]], take the [[Desert Vanguard Cottages]] portal from [[Khayyaban]] at 49.4S, 26.0E.
# The south outpost has similiar creatures as the north dungeon. To reach the leader just run south through the dungeon, most side rooms just loop around to the middle passages anyway so ignore them.
# Kill the [[Tumerok South Vanguard Leader]] and take his {{Itemlink|Vanguard Leader's Crossbow}}, {{Itemlink|Vanguard Leader's Amulet}} and the {{Itemlink|Southern Tumerok Insignia}}.
# Give the insignia to [[Ufet, Prophet of Blades]] in [[Zaikhal]] (13.9N, 0.7E) for 5,000,000 xp.
