== Overview ==
Fight your way to the bottom of the catacombs and claim the great treasure of the Forbidden.

* You must be a [[Player Killer]] to access this quest.
* First you must get a {{Itemlink|Shadow Fragment}} or {{Itemlink|Pyreal Bar}} to be given access to the [[Forbidden Catacombs]].
* Should you die in the catacombs you will need another [[Shadow Fragment]] or [[Pyreal Bar]] to enter.

== Walkthrough & Notes ==
# Double click the statue to enter the Greater Battle Dungeon and make your way down to the red area with the [[Bael'Zharon (NPC)|Bael'Zharon]] wannabe and [[Guardian of the Forbidden]]. The wannabe sells the {{Itemlink|Forbidden Note}} quest rumor and other items including exceptionally cheap spell components.
# Go up the ramp to the Guardian and hand your item to it. You will be portaled in to a room with [[The Black Breath]] and 8 destroyable [[Door]]s.
# Each of the doors lead to rooms with various creatures (see [[Forbidden Catacombs]] for a list). The {{Itemlink|Forbidden Key}} to the chest is randomly dropped by creatures on this level and also the next level down.
# To reach the second level of the catacombs, destroy one of the doors in the northwest corner and then head north going left at the split. Destroy the door and jump down through the hole.
# You will now be a room similiar to before, but this time with four doors.
# Beyond these doors you will find more corridors leading to rooms filled with creatures; however, this time there are also creatures found in the main corridors.
# Once you have found a key head east via the south corridor until you reach a door guarded by two [[Platinum Golem]]s. Destroy the door and jump down into the pit leading to the third floor.
# From this level take the north corridor and jump into the pit.
#* Note: There is a button on the south wall near the 2nd pit down. This opens a secret door on the north wall that leads back to the Tumerok room on the 1st floor (there is a locked door on the other end).
# Jump down the hole and destroy the door leading into an area with a stone statue of Bael'Zharon. Head up the slope and around to a door and ledge overlooking the room with the [[Forbidden Chest]]s.
# There are no creatures on this level, however, once you jump down Drudges and [[Platinum Golem]]s can fall from the room above.
# Use the key on one of the chests for your rewards.
