Question: I have an AMD 800 with the Voodoo 5 5500 AGP. To get 3D acceleration I have to install DirectX 8. This seems to lock up my system as I enter into the game. Will the Voodoo 5 be supported?

Answer: The voodoo5 5500 should work fine with AC, as Jesse runs with one right next to me every day. I'd suggest re-installing your drivers, or trying a different driver (such as the reference driver from 3dfx). You shouldn't need DirectX 8 for AC, as it runs fine on any version greater than 6.0
