Answer:	Yes, relative height does matter in determining whether an attack physically hits a target. (It has no direct effect on whether the blow is actually evaded or does damage, however.) Monsters actually look at the relative height of their target and adjust their combat swing appropriately. In other words, a drudge upslope of you should have a greater probability of attacking low.
